DO HARD THINGS

Have you ever tried to reduce or eliminate stress in your life?.
What if I told you that you actually need stress to improve? It’s a prerequisite.

Exercise is a stress on your body. When you lift weights, your systems are taxed (and even broken down) followed by a repairing process. Stress -> Response -> Growth

You want a more resilient mindset? Do hard things! Your mind needs to undergo stressful situations in order to grow and adapt. doing cold water exposure (definitely a stress) in order to gain more mental resilience.

putting yourself into situations that make you uncomfortable, like for me public speaking, is very difficult. But every time I put myself into that situation i become a little better at it

Not all stress is good, however. The constant stress of abusing alcohol or the stress of working 70 hours in a week are not going to allow for favorable adaptions.
