Getting results in your 40s

you blinked your eyes and now you are in your 40’s you have realized that you need to start exercising, or you are exercising, but you have started to see a decrease in your results. Either way exercise NEEDS to be a part of your life.

The team here at Strength Warehouse fully understands you guys are busy….. work, kids, vacations, activates, the works RIGHT!

But if you’d like to stay around and live a great life, you need to be doing some sort of strength training and some sort of cardio training as well!

Today, I got an email from a potential client, they have been following us and our content for some time, in their email they asked.

“Why does it take so long to archive any physical results now that I’m in my 40’s?????

My response was, the answer to your question is multifaceted, but for the most part, it comes down to the kind of training they are doing and the intensity, along with the optimizations of the macronutrients that we are putting into our bodies. This is where a coach comes in handy!! We take 99% of the guess work out of the equation. When you hire a coach, you are hiring for speed and clarity. The coach is not going to work out for you or cook your food, but a good coach will stop you from the time it takes to “figure it out on your own.”

To put this all into perspective, when I start to chat with people who are struggling with results, I ask them to explain what they are doing workout wise and what they are eating they tell me they are working out hard and eating fairly well! once we get into the exact things, we can start to poke holes in the statements! I’ve been lifting for 17 years. I hired a coach, could I do it myself… yes, but not optimally, a great coach will help you get the results you want no matter what stage in life you are! given we do this for a living and have help hundreds of clients reach the same goals and far beyond.

Bottom line is that it’s never too late to get started or adjust the plan you are currently on. So many people come to us looking to build strength in their lives for various reasons.
